Are
you "Just getting started?"
If so, HFFT offers FREE
Flight Training.
HFFT has
several experienced Flight Instructors available to inspect your plane
and give you flying lessons. The best part is the lessons are
FREE, with your
paid membership. You DO NOT have to be a member to start your
flying lessons. You may use the field with the help of one of
our Flight Instructors three (3) times as a guest before joining the
club. This gives you a chance to start flying, try out the
field, and meet the members BEFORE you join.
FLIGHT
INSTRUCTORS:
This is a list of HFFT Flight Instructors and contact
information for those that can be contacted away from the field. These
instructors can be found - most weekends - at the field, just ask
someone to point them out to you.
- Are
your batteries charged: (12-14 hours is typical for a full charge)
- Transmitter and Receiver turned OFF
before leaving the house
- Do you have extra props - unfortunately a must for
most beginners,
- of the recommended size for your engine (see your engine manual)
- Do you have extra glow plugs
- Any "Extra" parts, manuals, etc. for your plane,
engine and radio. "Extra" parts include but are not limited to items
that you could not figure out what to do with.
